Rocky Brooks
Rocky Brooks came to work for Foothills Radio Group in April 1995 after spending eleven years in Connecticut where he met and married his wife Lisa in 1985. Rocky spent eight-plus years working a music shift at Kicks 103.3, prior to moving over to AM News-Talk 1340 WJRI in July of 2002 and become host of Caldwell This Morning.

The move was one that Rocky states frankly, "Scared the bejeebers out of me"! If rising for work each weekday morning has proven difficult for him, Rocky certainly has been up to the task of expressing his opinions on the air. This has been a calculated attempt to aggravate all political parties and spur listeners to think about issues that affect their daily lives in Caldwell County.

Non-affiliated politically, Rocky openly discusses topics of local, national, and international interest and welcomes the opinions of listeners, whether they agree with him or not. But the part of the job Rocky says he enjoys most is conducting interviews with various guests on his show.
